CALENDAR OF EVENTS

On Saturday, August 25th, COCHON Heritage Fire, the second largest COCHON 555 event, celebrates heritage breed animals, wood-fired whole animal theatre cooking by top chefs, butchering, family-owned wineries, artisan foods, craft beers and spirits. Chefs participating: COCHON “King of Porc,”Jason Vincent from Nightwood in Chicago; Sonoma’s John Stewart and Duskie Estes, from zazu farm + restaurant, COCHON 2011 winners, Tim Goodell from LA's Public Kitchen & Bar; COCHON Napa winner Lars Kronmark of the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone; chef Jordan Mackey of Restaurant Cuvee Napa; John Fink of The Whole Beast in San Francisco; Todd Spanier the King of Mushrooms, Kim Wiss of Antica Napa, Ronnie New of Magnolia Brewery and Dennis Lee of Namu. Guests will spend their afternoon nestled against the vines that run along the banks of the Oxbow River in the heart of Napa Valley, minutes away from downtown. With 14 chefs from around the country participating, Heritage Fire is national, but local in flavor.
