Golf and more golf at Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club.

Floating on the Russian River in a canoe with great friends, deli sandwiches and wine!
Gail Ryan, Healdsburg Realty
Social networking at Healdsburg’s Tuesday Music on the Plaza. Fabulous interaction with a couple hundred of your closest friends, plus food, wine and music. It’s the best.
Kathy Shaffer, KSA Inc.
We have a 41-foot Beneteau sailboat that we keep in the Sausalito Yacht Harbor. We sail Richardson Bay to San Francisco Bay and out into the ocean for coastal cruising. But Richardson Bay is the best. It’s tucked off to the side, “behind” the Headlands, making it a protected area to anchor. It’s great fun just to sit out there with the bimini up, read a book and dinghy around. One fun thing is to dinghy over to is the Sausalito Art Festival on Labor Day weekend, we listen to the music as we paddle around.

Cruise the boat into Sam’s Anchor Café in Tiburon for cocktails and appetizers!
Melina Sansi, Addison Avenue Investment Services
Taking the kids to Johnson Beach on the Russian River in Guerneville. The kids have a great time swimming and playing, you can relax under an umbrella with a good book, the food is good and great prices, too. A great day for the family.
Don Floriani, Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club
Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club, Sunday evenings around 4:00 or 5:00, with my wife. It’s quiet, the shadows from the oaks are long, the cell phone is off. It’s the most peaceful and enjoyable part of my summer.
Craig Curreri, Coldwell Banker
If you haven’t attended one of the free Thursday night outdoor concerts on the Windsor Town Green, you’re missing out. Bring a picnic dinner, your favorite bottle of wine and lawn chairs, and relax in the very casual environment with fantastic entertainment. A great way to unwind and enjoy Sonoma County!
Giles Scott, Scott Technology Group, Inc.
I think we’re spoiled in the North Bay, golf-wise. We have a plethora of great public courses, including Windsor, the two Oakmonts, the two Foxtails, Bennett Valley, Rooster Run, Adobe Creek and, when not windy or foggy (which is 99 percent of the time), Bodega Bay is a real treat. My two favorite nine-holers, Wikiup and Tayman Park, are also challenging and fun. A little further afield, it’s hard to beat Hiddenbrooke, Mare Island and Rancho Solano in Solano County; and Indian Valley and Stone Tree in Marin. Also, don’t forget the Presidio and Harding Park in San Francisco.
