    Looking for a way to steadily improve your golf game—maybe even compare yourself with your friends or against the pros? Game Golf consists of a small, wearable device (it fits easily on your waistband) and tags that you install into the grips of your clubs. During your round, simply tap the tags against the device before each shot.
    The company’s Web and mobile interfaces will display your game using a map view of the golf course that shows shot locations and distances. Share rounds, stats, records and more with the Game Golf community and your friends on Facebook and Twitter. All statistical parts of your game are recorded, calculated and displayed as trends over time, so learning about and improving your game is based on facts.
    And now, the company has launched a free app that lets golfers track their game and club distances in real time, and manage their game with a built-in GPS rangefinder (no purchase of the Game Golf physical device is required). The app provides an aerial view of each hole, distances to key locations using the GPS feature and the ability to “tag” each shot by selecting the club used. See greens in regulations, fairway accuracy, scrambling percentage, putts per hole, club distances and more.

    As consumers continue to seek out natural alternatives for everything from garden and automotive products to household cleaners, British-born retailer Lush is ready to fill the demand for natural beauty and skincare products. With the tagline “fresh handmade cosmetics,” Lush sells ethical skin care, hair care, bath and body luxuries, as well as creative gift ideas. The first North Bay outlet recently opened in Santa Rosa Plaza, and NorthBay biz sampled four of its products.
    The Lemony Flutter cuticle butter is a treat for dry, cracked hands. The first thing that hits you is the aroma—citrusy, fresh and clean, without a hint of perfume—while the thick cream quenches and softens rough spots. The Celestial facial moisturizer likewise delivers a scrumptious vanilla scent (seriously, it makes us want a cupcake) along with silky overnight nourishment. Honey Trap lip balm provides a soothing, vanilla/honey layer to help keep lips kissable. And Happy Hippy shower gel provides a rich, grapefruit-scented lather that’s a refreshing and revitalizing way to start the day.
    Lush uses all natural ingredients: 100 percent of products are vegetarian, about 85 percent are vegan, 40 percent are preservative-free, 35 percent are unpackaged and none have ever been tested on animals.
