Shapiro, Galvin, Shapiro & Moran, first established in Santa Rosa by Everett Shapiro in 1968, was voted “Best Law Firm” by NorthBay biz voters once again. “Adrienne Moran is a specialist in the employment area, in addition to her litigation experience,” says Daniel Galvin, managing shareholder of Shapiro, Galvin, Shapiro & Moran. “Tad Shapiro specializes in personal injury and I specialize in construction-related work. I represent a lot of contractors and sub-contractors, and material suppliers and do a fair amount of estate planning and general business.” Galvin credits their long-standing history of providing excellent legal services in the community to their award-winning success.

“We have great name recognition because we have such a good local presence,” says Galvin. “All three of us are native to Santa Rosa. We’re all active in the community. We have a visible location downtown that people recognize, and we provide quality legal services.”

Members of the firm have served in leadership positions in the Sonoma County Bar Association, the Bar of California and the Consumer Attorneys of California. Some attorneys have also served on the boards or volunteered for national and local charities and businesses, including the Redwood Empire Food Bank, Santa Rosa YMCA; Ursuline High School; Cardinal Newman High School; Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce; Sonoma County Council on Aging; Social Advocates for Youth and Catholic Charities. Galvin served as the initial chairman of the City of Santa Rosa Community Advisory Board.

“I’m the chairman of the Board of Public Utilities for the City of Santa Rosa,” says Galvin. “I’ve been on that committee for about 15 years now, and have been the chairman for the last five years. I’m also on the board for the Catholic Community Foundation and the North Coast Builders Exchange. These are all important activities in which we like to involve ourselves.”
