With the holidays now in full swing, it may be easy to forget the State Regional Stay Home Order remains in full effect. We all are required to keep to our own households, not gather with others, not travel for non-essential purposes, and in support of local businesses and restaurants only order for pick-up or delivery. As a reminder, the following businesses must cease both indoor and outdoor operation:
- Hair salons and barbershops
- Personal care services, including nail salons
- Dining indoor or outdoor (available for pick-up/to-go only)
- Wineries, bars, breweries and distilleries (except for operations related to production, manufacturing, distribution and retail sales for off-site consumption)
- Hotels, vacation rentals, and short-term lodging sites restricted to essential travel only (limited exceptions allowed for out-of-state travelers)
- Movie theaters (except for drive-in theaters)
- Family entertainment centers
- Museums, zoos, and aquariums
- Live audience sports
- Amusement parks

COVID-19 infection rates in Sonoma County continue to climb, and it is incumbent upon all of us, individuals and businesses alike, to comply with the Stay Home Order. The City of Santa Rosa continues to educate the community and local businesses about the intricacies of the Order, but has progressed to enforcement for businesses and individuals who continue to operate in violation of the Order.

We understand this is a complicated and difficult time for many. Please continue to support our local businesses by buying gift cards, ordering take-out or opting for curbside pick-up, and not patronizing businesses in violation of the Order.
