An unsheltered encampment at Triangle Park on Fourth Street in Santa Rosa was cleared by Santa Rosa City officials Tuesday morning. The camp, which neighbors Chileno’s Mexican Restaurant’s parking lot, consisted of at least ten members.

Some unsheltered members of the camp were assisted by Redwood Catholic Charities’ homeless outreach team to secure accommodations at Sam Jones Hall, while others opted to search for shelter elsewhere.

The encampment sprung up following the sweep of the Cancer Park Encampment last year, located a few blocks down from Triangle Park and Chileno’s Mexican Restaurant.
