The County of Marin is embarking on a project to improve its primary website, MarinCounty.org, to make it more user-friendly and accessible. To understand what people need and expect from the website, the County is seeking feedback from community members.

As part of the feedback process, the County plans to connect with a wide range of people with different experiences and backgrounds. Up to 20 individuals will be selected to participate in a 1-hour remote video interview. Those that complete the interview will be offered a $50 Target e-gift card. Interested parties can apply online in English, Spanish, or Vietnamese, and the deadline to apply is Friday, April 1.

“An updated, easy-to-navigate website is one way we are enhancing customer service and improving how local residents and businesses interact with County government,” said Laine Hendricks, Public Information Officer for Marin. “Our website is not only a place to conduct business, but it’s an important part of our overall customer service experience. We want the public’s help in how we can make that service experience as quick and helpful as possible.”

The new version of the website is expected to debut in late 2022. It will feature updated navigation, improved search options and a fresh look and feel.

Anyone who wants to follow the status of Marin’s updated website can subscribe for project updates online. Future research and opportunities to provide input will be shared later this Spring.
