    • Feb. 11: Napa Valley’s Black History Month Celebration

    Napa Valley’s 6th Annual Black History Month Celebration will be held at Crosswalk Church at 2:00 p.m. Celebrate and learn about local and historical stories of our Black Community while building healthy relationships across all cultures. Kids 12 and under are free and will have activities to participate in. Busters BBQ will be available, as well as desserts and donated wine from local Black-owned wineries.     Feb. 16: Black History Trivia Night

    How much do you know about Black history? Test your knowledge at Black History Trivia Night and compete for a prize! Event will be held at the Napa Library at 6:00 p.m. Ages 13+.

     

    Feb. 21-27: “A Place for All People” Exhibition

    “A Place for All People: Introducing the National Museum of African American History and Culture” is a commemorative poster exhibition at the Napa County Library. Based on the inaugural exhibitions of the museum, the posters highlight key artifacts that tell the rich and diverse story of the African American experience. “A Place for All People” is organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES) in collaboration with the museum. Exhibit is available for viewing during the library’s open hours.
