Kaiser Permanente has named a new area manager to lead its Santa Rosa operations. Abhishek Dosi is the not-for-profit healthcare provider’s new senior vice president and area manager for the Santa Rosa service area, according to an announcement this week from Kaiser. Dosi will assume his new role beginning May 15.
According to Kaiser, Dosi is known for being an “engaging leader who promotes cultural transformation and successful collaboration across disciplines and departments to achieve results.”
Dosi had previously served as CEO of Kaiser Permanente San Francisco and, more recently, had been CEO of the Sutter Solano Medical Center. He joined Kaiser in 2021.
Dosi says he’s excited to join the Santa Rosa leadership team.
“There are many challenges in our community and we will continue our partnerships in advancing our work toward health equity,” Dosi said in the announcement. “I am also looking forward to partnering with our new KP Santa Rosa Physician-in-Chief in the coming months. We are both gaining the highest quality physicians, nurses, and healthcare teammates who dedicate themselves to bringing our mission to life every day.”
Dosi holds a Bachelor of Science in community health from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in health administration from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He lives in Marin County with his wife and two young daughters, where he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
