Redwood Credit Union welcomes Susanne Miller as SVP of accounting and finance

Susanne Miller has been hired as the senior vice president of accounting and finance at Redwood Credit Union. Miller will oversee financial planning and analysis, business finance support and the accounting and financial reporting teams.

With over 30 years of experience, Miller previously served in multiple global senior executive business and finance positions at Citigroup, Wells Fargo and Barclays Bank. Miller also held roles at HSBC, American Express and JP Morgan.

Vivalon announces appointment of Dan Reidy to board of directors

San Rafael-based nonprofit Vivalon announced the appointment of Dan Reidy to its board of directors. Vivalon advances independence, health and quality of life for older adults and people with disabilities.

Reidy has over 30 years of experience in the marketing and communications world, co-founding his own communications agency in 2002—Reidy Communications. Prior to this, Reidy ran marketing and public relations for supply chain analytics startup Rapt, which was later acquired by Microsoft. He’s enjoyed other senior communications roles at CrossWorlds Software and Baan Company.

“Across the U.S., older adults are struggling with loneliness at exactly the time when our culture is more ‘connected’ than ever. Vivalon can serve as an example of how we want to support aging communities in fulfilling ways,” said Reidy in a press release from Vivalon.

Sonoma Clean Power welcomes Garth Salisbury as new CFO

Garth Salisbury has assumed the role of chief financial officer (CFO) for Sonoma Clean Power (SCP), which is a public power provider for Sonoma and Mendocino counties. SCP is celebrating its 10th anniversary delivering clean, affordable and locally sourced energy to its communities.

Salisbury has over 30 years of combined experience in the utility and public finance sectors. Most recently he served as CFO and treasurer for Marin Clean Energy.

In his new role, Salisbury will be responsible for the organization’s financial planning, risk management and investment strategies.
