A new salad-and-sandwich destination rising in popularity throughout Southern California opened its first North Bay location at Montgomery Village this week. Mendocino Farms, known for seasonal, chef-curated menus, brings its bold flavors to 2400 Sonoma Ave. in Santa Rosa.

Mendocino Farms offers chef-crafted sandwiches, salads and soups; the chain started in 2005 and now has more than 70 locations in the United States, over 60 of which are in California. In a press release about the opening, Mendocino Farms CEO Kevin Miles described Montgomery Village as a “perfect location” for the company to expand.

Kris Miller, general manager of Montgomery Village, said in a statement that, this being Mendocino Farms first location in Sonoma County, its “fresh flavors” will bring a “vibrant energy” to the community.

The restaurant held its grand opening May 13. Visit mendocinofarms.com/locations/Santa-Rosa.
