“The Trope Group deeply cares about its customers and quality.”—Christina Pratt, president

Organized. Professional. Committed to customer service. These are just a few descriptions pulled from many testimonials praising the Trope Group for being a leading company in design in the North Bay. For more than 30 years, Trope Group has served the North Bay by creating functional, efficient and quality workspaces.  At the helm of the company are president, Christina Pratt, and Charlie Nicholls, principal, who lead a stellar team of designers, project coordinators, and more, including a special tail-wagging, four-legged, furry friend, Khaleesi, who holds another important position as head of corporate security.

Trope Group specializes in space planning and design and everything that falls under its expansive umbrella. From floor plans to fabric choices, and lighting to installation, Trope Group is a coveted arsenal of design products and services with a lauded reputation. While the company is smaller than others in the Bay Area, both Pratt and Nicholls agree that a smaller entity has its advantages—such as a faster response time to customers, strong management of quality and service consistency. To maintain its high standard of excellence, Pratt and Nicholls say the relationship with clients must be held at great value, which is achieved by fostering strong communication.  “The company and client relationship should not be seen as transactional,” says Nicholls. “Each client should be treated like one of the team, with a strong focus on the clients’ vision and producing a workspace that reflects their brand and culture.”

One of Trope Group’s biggest accomplishments during the past year was helping Keysight Technologies get up and running after the 2017 North Bay fires.  The project was large in scale, but like any other production Trope Group is committed to, they delivered nothing short of excellence. Currently, the company is looking forward to enhancing its own workspace by developing new hiring plans and updated technology. Both Pratt and Nicholls look forward to embracing the technological advances that come with working in an always-evolving industry. At Trope Group, changes in culture and business drive changes in products, Pratt and Nicholls explain. The team adapts well to innovation, keeping in mind their objective of creating a space that supports what the client’s business wants to accomplish.  “The Trope Group deeply cares about its customers and quality,” says Pratt. Nicholls adds, “While challenges do arise once in awhile, Trope Group always makes sure it responds in a manner that will maintain a strong company/client relationship and an ability to deliver great results.”

Whether a business is considering a functional outdoor site or acoustical solution, Trope Group is prepared to provide excellent service. Whatever the process entails, there’s always something new to learn, says Pratt.  And if Trope Group’s record has proven anything, every new change embraced by the company will only enhance the sterling name it’s made for itself in the North Bay.
