April 13: Learn to nature journal
- Take a break from your busy life and practice nature journaling at Paradise Beach Park, 3450 Paradise Drive in Tiburon, from 10 a.m. to noon. The materials for journaling will be provided and participants will be led through the basics of nature journaling and field observation—this event is appropriate for ages 10 and up. Attendees will then try their hand at sketching and identifying local plants and animals. The event is free but registration is required at marincounty.gov.

April 22: Clean & Green Day in Downtown San Rafael
- In honor of Earth Day on April 22, the Downtown San Rafael Business Improvement District and San Rafael Clean Coalition are hosting a Clean & Green Day. May 3 – 4: Marin Irish Festival
- Have you always wanted to learn more about Irish culture? Well, you are in luck because the Marin Irish Festival is coming to San Rafael on May 3 to 4. Located at the Marin County Fairgrounds, 10 Avenue of the Flags in San Rafael, guests will gather lakeside at Lagoon Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The festival will be packed full with entertainment, craft vendors, sheep dog demos, falconry, an Irish dance competition and more. - Rutherford Ranch Winery, 1680 Silverado Trail South in St. Helena, will host a special Taco & Vine event on April 26. Running from noon to 3 p.m., guests will sample from a variety of flavor-filled tacos. After trying each taco, you will be presented with the challenge of pairing each one with the perfect Rutherford wine. The correct pairing combos will be revealed at the end of the challenge.
