On July 21, families flocked to Olympia’s Valley Estate to take part in a celebration of Sonoma County’s rich agricultural background. Attendees were able to meet local farmers and learn more about the ins and outs of production. Guests were required to RSVP online, but the event was free to attend—beyond the $5 parking fee. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. visitors were able to walk around the estate, 1051 Walker Rd in Petaluma, and were face to face with farm animals and their owners. The event was packed full with interactive booths, local food and drink vendors, live music and more. [All photos courtesy of Emily Eichner, Rural Oak Photography]
