Hope Village is the new Rincon Valley residential center for women struggling to overcome substance abuse. The treatment center is run by longtime North Bay nonprofit Buckelew Programs, which partnered two years ago with Sonoma County developers—and active philanthropists—Cindy and Bill Gallaher to pull the recovery program from the brink of financial dissolution to find it a new home and breath life into its services. The Gallahers have spent more than $8 million to purchase and renovate the Hope Village property—and completion of the project was celebrated with an open house in June.
