The largest wine consuming generations include Millennials and Baby Boomers, according to a report by the Wine Market Council. As for the consumption habits, here are few facts from a report by Nielsen released earlier this year:

•    120 million Americans drink wine

•    The U.S. is #42 in per capital global ranking

•    38 percent of Americans drink wine weekly

•    Americans continue to prefer wine and spirits, despite the growing popularity of craft beer
