Yee-haw!

Dust off your boots, because Country Summer is getting down and dirty this year for its fifth annual, three-day concert series at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. And this year, it’s gonna be huge. Headliners include Florida Georgia Line, Little Big Town and the red solo cup king himself, Toby Keith. “This is the biggest Country Summer ever,” says Dano, Froggy 92.9 program director and radio personality. “We have three headliners that are frequently on every awards show and played stadiums and amphitheaters in the area.”

Thanks to Froggy’s loyal listeners, the honky-tonk festival is gaining recognition, with travelers from across the U.S. galloping to Sonoma County’s exclusive Wine Country—country event. “Our listeners make it possible—they’ve shown up in droves for four years,” Dano proudly says. But there’s more! For the first time, the Country Summer Campground, in addition to the RV park, will accommodate festival-goers seeking that all-day, all-night experience.

Be sure to bring your appetite—an array of local foods and thirst-quenching libations will be flowing—from the Kendall Jackson wine garden, to the Jack Daniel’s salon, to the Anheuser-Busch bar for beer drinkers. There’s something for everyone at this years’ County Summer. Three-day-passes are on sale now. For more info, go to www.countrysummer.com.

BottleRock ‘n’ JaM Out

SOLD OUT! BottleRock—the three-day music, wine and food fest in Napa Valley is back and better than ever for its sixth year. Some of today’s biggest artists will be headlining this year’s festival—Bruno Mars, The Killers and Muse as well as E-40, Earth, Wind & Fire and Snoop Dogg.
“The 2018 lineup is arguably our deepest to date,” says Justin Dragoo, partner in BottleRock Napa Valley and BottleRock Presents. “There’s incredible talent on every stage and we expect an enthusiastic response from festival goers.”

What makes this year even better? “From our customers feedback, we continue to tweak the design of the event to improve the guest experience, including more space within the festival, expanded culinary garden, increased shade and improved sight lines.”

Guests can expect five music stages and the BottleRock culinary stage showcasing chef and celebrity collaborations. And in true Napa Valley fashion, Napa’s own JaM Cellars presents this year’s festival, featuring their easy-to-love, everyday wines with names like Butter Chardonnay and Toast Sparkling.
“The Napa Valley is not only America’s wine and food playground, but its natural beauty and ideal weather makes it a perfect location for festivals,” says Dragoo.

The event quickly sold out—from three-day general admission passes to their $3,900 platinum passes. But there’s still hope—fans can visit www.lyte.com/bottlerocknapavalley to buy or exchange tickets for the sold-out event. For more information, visit www.bottlerocknapavalley.com.
