Rain Forecast Into Wednesday; Sunny Weekend on the Horizon

The North Bay could receive up to 2 inches of rain over the next two days, as the latest atmospheric river brings more high winds and rain across Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties.

Higher elevations could see winds up to 35 to 40 mph, according to the National Weather Service, which will issue a wind advisory warning if gusts crest those levels.

As of Tuesday morning, March 21, wind speeds in Santa Rosa were at 5 mph. Steady rain in Sonoma County is expected to continue throughout the day, with showers tapering off Wednesday into Thursday. Friday and Saturday are expected to be sunny to mostly sunny.
