Hood Mountain Regional Park in Sonoma County.
Sonoma County Regional Parks has purchased a key addition to Hood Mountain Park & Preserve in collaboration with Sonoma Land Trust and local funders. The property is a 100-acre ranch between Hood Mountain and Saddle Mountain.
The acquisition of the land will allow for an enhancement of the wildlife corridor so wildlife will now be able to travel from Sugarloaf Ridge State Park across the 100-acre property and onto larger properties like Rancho Mark West.
The Parks Foundation received grants from Sonoma Land Trust and the Dave and Vicki Stollmeyer Family Fund with additional funding from the Parks Foundation’s Bill & Dave Legacy Fund. For more information visit sonomacountyparksfoundation.com.
